An online roulette game is basically a virtual roulette wheel simulator. The fairness and randomness of the outcome are controlled by a complex Random Generated Numbers (RNG) software. All online roulettes would usually have a set house edge that cannot be beaten, no matter what strategies you try.

I know how to play roulette very well, but since it has been a few years since I have played, there is one bet with a chip placement that I forgot about and need some help.
If I am sitting all the way on the right side of the american roulette table, then the green 0 and double 00 green are quite a distance for me to reach on my far left.Years ago,I was told by the roulette dealer that if I want to play a split 0/00 bet that instead of reaching all the way over on my left to place my chips on 0/00 green(for the split bet 17:1)...that I can simply place the chips at a sopt in front of me.
I simply forgot which 'spot'this was.I think it was were the line intersects in the upper middle between odd/19 to 36 and the 3rd 12.I'm not sure anymore. But I know for certain that in Alantic City,NJ,they let me place my split 0,00 green bets somewhere around the 3rd 12 area so that I did not have to reach across the roulette table everytime I got a seat on the right side of the table to place that bet.
Can anyone refresh my memory?
  1. These can be placed in both single-zero and double-zero roulette, although you have an extra 3-number bet in double-zero roulette courtesy of that extra 00 number. The payouts and probability for this bet are the same for the respective roulette tables as the street bet above. 2 Numbers - 17:1 (5.41%) Also known as: Split bet.
  2. Always Play European Roulette. Unlike the players in real, land-based casinos, online players have the courtesy of choosing from European and American version of roulette, so you should always choose to play the European version, the one with a single zero wheel, as this one has a very small house edge, i.e.

Thanks Doc.
Yes,that seems to refresh my memory.I'll have to try that again in the new Sands Casino in Bethehem,Pa.Hope those green croupiers understand that bet and don't think that i'm trying to play split dozens which is allowed in UK casinos.
By the way,my original question was concerning 0 and 00 split, and the optional chip placement for those numbers. But I suppose there is no optional chip placement for either 'straight up' 35:1 on 0 or 00 other than directly on those numbers? If I have to reach all the way over again,I guess i'll just have to ask the dealer, right? No other way without asking or reaching?

The only way I've found to play the 0-00 individually is to actually place, or have the dealer place, the chips on the spots. On a single '0' wheel, the courtesy line does not apply, at least where I have played. Another player spotted me making that mistake and moved my chip for me. I couldn't get mad at him...it hit, and I was told by the dealer that it would not have paid in the incorrect location. Also, the gent was trying to let me know what had happened as it was going on...thanks!!!
